"HC And - Scanninger" has been developed in collaboration between the X-ray Department, Nuclear Medicine Department, H.C. Andersen Children and Youth Hospital, Odense University Hospital, children and their families and 10:30 Visual Communication. HC And is patient information for children aged 4-7 years and aims to prepare and reduce anxiety in children for whom many hospital terms are completely unknown. In "HC And - Scanninger" selected patient procedures in X-ray and nuclear medicine are presented. Children in this age group learn and recognize through play and concrete information. Hospitalized children can quickly be "filled up" with a lot of information.
