The Peruvian Food Composition Tables - TPCA, is a publication of the National Institute of Health through the National Center for Food and Nutrition, which presents the nutritional value of natural and processed foods, as well as industrialized ones, that are consumed in Peru. The information contained in it is constantly updated and expanded. The structure of the TPCA responds to internationally agreed criteria and contains the main nutrients that are required for the nutritional evaluation of consumption, the formulation of diets, the preparation of label formats, food education, the development of food policies. and nutrition, among others.
