Geriatric Depression Scale 2.0

The Geriatric Depression Scale is a screening device to identify depression in older adults. This is a free handheld version that can be used to administer and score the scale. The background of the scale is found at: http://www.stanford.edu/people/yesavage/GDS.html There are currently about 30 translations at the website. This is the new Version 2.0 updated for Lollipop and option to mail results added. Please note a new version is published called the Geriatric Depression Dementia (GDDS Screen), which expands to cover some cognitive complaints.
