خلفيات يوم عرفة - موسم الحج

The Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, said: “Hajj is Arafa.” This means that performing the rituals of Hajj once in a lifetime for those who can afford it makes it easier than other acts of worship such as prayer and fasting, which are an individual obligation and must be performed at specific times. A legitimate excuse that gives the Muslim enough time and performing it once in a lifetime is enough. On the day of Arafah, from before noon until sunset, the pilgrims meet, observing the rules of ihram and dress, to Mount Arafat. From this ritual, Arafah took its other common name, the day of standing on Mount Arafah, and they ask God Almighty for His mercy and forgiveness.
