BandejApp PUC-Rio is the app for those who frequent the PUC-Rio cafeteria and want to have the menu and useful information always at hand. MENU View the daily menu, with lunch dishes, updated from the same public database used by the official cafeteria announcements. PRACTICAL INFORMATION Check breakfast, lunch, snack, and dinner times, as well as prices by profile — students, staff, and visitors — directly in the Information tab. LANGUAGE AND APPEARANCE Choose between Portuguese, English, Spanish, French, German, and Italian for the interface. Activate light mode, dark mode, or follow the system theme. REMINDERS Configure local notifications to receive a daily reminder with a preview of the menu (no registration required in the app). WIDGET (ANDROID) View a preview of the day's menu on the home screen when you add the app widget. DISH RANKING Follow the ranking of the most highly rated and least popular dishes by the community, based on votes cast within the app itself. BANDBREAK In between meals, play BandBreak — a retro mini-game — and compare your score on the global ranking. Signing in with Google is optional and only serves to register and submit your best score in this game mode; the rest of the app does not require an account. IMPORTANT The app works best with an internet connection to load the menu and auxiliary services (translation, ranking, and optional game registration).
