Simply install this audio tour app on your device, select your preferred language, and off you go! For some armchair travel, the tours can also be followed digitally from home, in your hotel room, or even while sitting on the train... All sights are illustrated with pictures. Routes The Lake Lungern Circular Route, takes you once around Lake Lungern and shares interesting information about the area, highlighting many beautiful photo spots. This 11 km route is flat and therefore accessible for most. The Lungern Village Circular Route. leads you through the village of Lungern detailing the historical sites and buildings. This 5 km route is also easy and flat. The Onwards and Upwards Route, is recommended for more athletic visitors to the area. The 5 km route is on comfortable terrain but does climb almost 300 meters in altitude; keep going and you’ll be rewarded with a wonderful view over the village, the lake and the surrounding mountains. The Photo Spots Route is ideal for those seeking the best viewpoints to take photos. You’ll enjoy stunning vistas, looking into the mountainous distance, over the lake, as well as seeing a spectacular waterfall. The 7 km loop is on an undemanding path, but needs a bit of effort with the 200 meter altitude gain. The Quick Village Tour is best if you only have a little time available for exploring.You’ll get insights into the mountains, lake and village, but in a concise way. This 3 km route is quick and easy but, as Lungern is a mountain village after all, there’s still around 100 meters of altitude difference. Offline? On the road and travelling without internet? No problem! If you don't have an internet connection, you can still use the app offline. This saves you roaming charges.
