There are multiple ankle injuries that can be painful for many months and even years. These pains can limit sports activities or even daily trips such as climbing a staircase in the house. The most common injuries are ankle sprains and Achilles tendon injuries. When these injuries are not properly treated from the beginning, they can give pain and symptoms for years transforming into a chronic injury (such as a chronic ankle sprain, also called ankle instability). This application is capable of detecting through certain tests (using the accelerometer and gyroscope sensors of your cell phone) what injury your ankle has and it will recommend which rehabilitation exercises to perform to help you recover.
