Divipola móvil

The Political-Administrative Division of Colombia Divipola is a coding standard that allows an organized and updated list of all the units into which the national territory is divided, giving each department, municipality, departmental corregimiento and populated center, the maximum stability in its identification. This coding, in accordance with the territorial dynamics of the country, is periodically updated by the National Administrative Department of Statistics (DANE), in accordance with the information provided by the municipal and departmental administrations, becoming a source of consultation on the administrative and political organization of the country.
