Marcos Aoás Corrêa, better known as Marquinhos, is a Portuguese-Brazilian footballer who plays as a defender. He currently plays for Paris Saint-Germain and for the Brazilian national team. He started his career at Corinthians and, after winning the 2012 Copa Libertadores, joined Roma for €3m. Marquinhos was a regular in his only season as Roma reached the 2012–13 Coppa Italia Final. In July 2013, he transferred to Paris Saint-Germain for €31.4 million on a five-year contract, one of the highest transfers for a player under 20 years old.
