The Big Civ

As you start a new civilization the planet is randomized, affecting the rate of resource gain. Then you begin collecting resources like food and wood manually to be able to build houses to grow a population of people. Then afterwards your people can be assigned to things like farms, lumberyards, mines etc. to gather resources for you as you build new buildings and progress the technology of your civilization. As you progress, you can build new buildings like the factory, brickworks, and plywood mill which can take many of the resources and craft them into new resources that are used to build higher tier buildings. After progressing your technology far enough you’ll eventually be able to build a time machine which can allow you to go back in time and reset your civilization. Doing so will generate paradox which will allow you to upgrade and augment your further civilizations to be able to gather more resources than usual, make better houses capable of housing a larger population, assign more workers than before etc.
