They can only request calls to caregivers added by family members. 🔒 No Access to Contact List – Toyra does not allow full contact access to avoid confusion. 🔒 No Call History Displayed – To protect users from confusion, call history is never shown. 🔐 Permissions & Why They Are Required 📌 Default Phone Handler Role (ROLE_DIALER) This role is required for Toyra to provide safe and accessible call handling for dementia users. 📌 SEND_SMS Used only to send emergency alerts to trusted, pre-defined caregivers. 📌 PROCESS_OUTGOING_CALLS Required to manage assisted calling workflows as part of the default dialer functionality. 📌 READ_CALL_LOG Used only during an incoming call to: Identify the caller. Confirm they are a pre-approved caregiver. Automatically allow or block the call based on caregiver status. 👉 Toyra does NOT: Does not display or expose call history to users. Does not track location when it is in the background Use this permission for analytics or non-core features. Read unrelated call data.
