Suggested power and speed settings to give you a starting point - and a general idea of what settings to use for your circumstances. Your settings may require some tweaking. Some factors to consider are ambient temperature, water temperature, tube age, focus accuracy etc. If in doubt, use the lowest power possible. To use this calculator, click your Rated Laser Output Power, then select Cut or Engrave, and then the material you intend to use. The values we use to calculate Power and Speed settings were measured by Perfect Laser South Africa on our own machines. Readings were taken with material from Cape Town. Your material may differ.
