"Al-Muharrar al-Wajiz fi Tafsir al-Kitab al-'Aziz" by Ibn 'Atiyya al-Andalusi (d. 541 AH) is one of the Sunni commentaries, combining transmitted knowledge with rational interpretation in a concise and clear style.
