The issue of marriage is an issue that is always actual and always interesting to discuss, because this issue does not only concern the nature and basic needs of human life, but also touches a noble and central institution, namely the household. Noble, because this institution is a stronghold for the defense of human dignity and virtuous moral values. Central, because this institution is the center for the birth and growth of the children of Adam, who will have a role and key in realizing peace and prosperity on earth. Allah Ta'ala encourages this chapter of marriage in one of His verses, Amen God bless you "And marry those who are alone among you, and those who are worthy (married) from your male slaves and your female slaves. If they are poor God will enable them with His gifts. And Allah is Extensive (His gifts) and All-Knowing." (Surah An-Nur: 32) Marriage is human nature and includes a way that can reduce biological and psychological turmoil within, as the embodiment of the noble ideals of the life of a husband and wife. Then from this syar'i marriage it will produce good offspring so that with its role, the prosperity of this earth will be vibrant. Marriage is not a small and trivial matter, but it is an important and big matter. The marriage contract is a firm and holy agreement, as the word of Allah Azza wa Jalla, وَكَيْفَ تَأْخُذُونَهُ وَقَدْ أَفْضَىٰ بَعْضُكُمْ إِلَىٰ بَعْضٍ وَأَخَذْنَ مِنْكُمْ مِ يثَاقًا غَلِيظًا "How are you going to take it back, even though some of you have been associating (mixed) with others as husband and wife. And they (your wives) have taken from you a strong agreement." (Surah An-Nisaa': 21) That's why it is hoped that all parties involved in marriage, especially the husband and wife, will maintain and maintain this bond seriously and responsibly.
