The app lets you check the balance of your Podorozhnik (St. Petersburg) and Troika (Moscow) electronic travel cards. Simply enable NFC on your phone and hold the card close to it. For Podorozhnik cards, the app displays the following information: - Current balance stored on the card; - Fare of the last trip; - Date of the last trip; - Mode of transport (ground/metro); - Transfer fare validity timer; - Price of the next trip with the current transfer fare; - Date and amount of the last e-wallet top-up; - Trip statistics for the current month; - Number of remaining days for the Unified (ground + metro) travel card; - Number of remaining days for student and pensioner discounted travel cards. For Troika cards, the app displays the following information: - Current balance stored on the card; - Date and time of the last trip. Not all phones with NFC can correctly read electronic travel cards. Reading issues are typically related to the specific implementation of the NFC chip in a particular device.
