Stadt Winterberg

The new Winterberg City app combines many useful features for citizens. It provides the latest news from the town hall and local clubs, as well as local developments. Push notifications send important messages or emergency alerts directly to your smartphone. This allows users to react quickly, for example, in the event of a fire or a dangerous situation. An events calendar clearly lists all relevant events – from traditional festivals to cultural events. Thanks to the filter function, users can quickly find suitable offers. Leisure activities can also be easily planned, as the app displays excursion destinations with opening hours and contact details. The offerings are supplemented by information on restaurants, retail stores, tradespeople, and tourist information. The content is maintained directly by city employees, ensuring timeliness and reliability. The mayor emphasizes: "With the new app, communication between the city and its citizens will be faster and more efficient – a true everyday helper."
