Smart Self Check-Out /Issue System How it works Library users can use their own Mobile - Log-in to user account in the Mobile App - Search the Library Catalogue by using Author or Title for a desired resource/book - Find out the desired books and its Locations (where the books are kept) and go there - Use the Self check-Out Menu in the Mobile app and SCAN the BARCODES of the desired books you want to borrow and PRESS Check-Out/Issue - The books will get issued/check-out (in the respective user account) - Email and SMS will be sent to the Library Admin and also to the user - User can print Issue Slip using a Wi-Fi enabled printer if needed 6. Self Check-In System / Return of Resources How it Works - Users can Self Check-In or Return books using a simple Smart Mobile App by log-in to his/her account - Scan the barcodes of the books he/she wants to return and PRESS CHECK-IN/RETURN - Drop the books after CHECK-IN in the DROPBOX kept in the Library (inside or outside) - User can generate Printed Return Slip for Acknowledgement using a Wi-Fi printer if needed - Details of RETURNED books (put in the DropBox) will be maintained in a DropBox File System - Counter Staff can (a) scan the barcodes on the books dropped in the DropBox (b) use the Counter System to Return the books - Necessary Transaction entries will be made in the Systems ( Counter Transactions and also in the Drop Box file) - Email and SMS will be sent to the users and to the Library Admin - Overdue charges if any will be added into the student’s account 7. Stock - Verification [To check the availability of resources in the library with the stock and find out the missing resources] - Scan the barcodes pasted on all the resources in the Library - Check with the stock /inventory list and also issued resources/resources sent for binding/ Lost, etc - Missing list will be generated
