GurraSharr

GurraSharr is an innovative digital platform designed to identify, record, and share freshwater sources across the Sharr Mountain region. Developed within the EkoRinia project, the application combines environmental awareness with modern technology to promote sustainable use of natural resources and support hikers, researchers, and local communities. Through interactive mapping and GPS-based data collection, users can: Locate and mark natural water springs in real time Access verified information about each water source (coordinates, altitude, flow type, accessibility) Explore an interactive map integrated with the hiking trails of Sharr Mountain Contribute data directly from the field and help expand the shared database Support nature conservation by documenting and protecting local water resources GurraSharr connects people with nature — turning every drop of water into knowledge and every hike into a contribution for sustainable mountain life.
