Explore Hereford Cathedral's medieval map of the world

The Mappa Mundi in Hereford Cathedral is the largest existing medieval map of the known world at the time. Drawn on a single sheet of vellum, it is 130cm wide. It was created in about 1300 AD by Richard of Holdingham in Lincolnshire, England. 1,068 features to explore on the interactive map with explanations of the written inscriptions and historical and geographic notes.
