Ethiopian & Gregorian Calendar

The App provides two options to scan over 3000 Years of calendar display. It is a useful tool for Ethiopians, Tourists and Scholars. It eliminates the hassle of converting from Gregorian to Ethiopian calendar or vise versal. The Ethiopian new year starts on September 11/12 and has 13 months; each month has 30 days except for the 13th month which has 5/6 days depending on the Ethiopian leap year. The "English" button displays both the Gregorian and Ethiopian Calendars mapped side by side for each month. The "አማርኛ" button displays Ethiopian calendar in Arabic and Geeze numerals. Public holidays and None holidays, that is ,fasting days related to Easter(Great Lent) for Ethiopian Orthodox followers are displayed in the corresponding months. Each Gregorian Calendar month is traversed by two Ethiopian Calendar months in most cases. The Ethiopian months are depicted by Violet and Aqua colors for ease of identification.
