Confanum Admissions

Confanum Admissions is the door-side QR scanner for events running on the Confanum platform — fan conventions, concerts, expos, festivals, ticketed series. Built for the ticket-takers standing at every entry point: badges, panels, ticketed photo ops, gated experiences. Pair the tablet as a check-in station, or hand staff a phone and have them roam the queue. WHAT YOU CAN DO • Scan QR codes — the camera viewfinder auto-detects tickets purchased via Confanum Box Office, the consumer Confanum app, or imported from your ticketing provider. • Manual lookup — type any ticket code, order number, or last name when a phone won't scan or the barcode is damaged. • Live attendance feed — every successful check-in (yours or any other operator's on this event) streams in via WebSocket so the team has a real-time count of who's in the room. • Offline queue — if connectivity drops, scans are queued locally with timestamps and replayed automatically once the network returns. No lost check-ins, no double-counted ones. • Multi-event — operators with access to several events switch between them from the same login. Each scan is scoped to the active event so cross-event ticket reuse is impossible. • Multi-org — operators that work for more than one event company see a clean organization picker on launch. • Audit trail — every check-in (and every attempt that failed) is recorded in the Confanum admin audit log with the operator's identity, timestamp, and result code, so disputed admissions have a single source of truth. CLEAR FEEDBACK A successful scan plays a green confirmation with the attendee's name and ticket tier. A duplicate, expired, refunded, or wrong-event scan plays a distinct red rejection with the specific reason — "Already checked in at 10:42", "Refunded 2 hours ago", "Not valid for this event" — so the operator can resolve the line quickly. ROLES + ACCESS Operators are granted "Ticket Taker" or higher in the Confanum admin console. Ticket-takers can check in but not refund or sell. Box Office Supervisors and Full Admins inherit check-in privileges automatically. REQUIREMENTS • An active Confanum organization (https://confanum.com). • An account granted check-in or operations permissions in the Confanum admin console. • An event with ticketed access configured. • Camera permission, granted when prompted. The app is free; usage is included with a Confanum subscription.
