The "Culture Matsu APP" expands and transforms upon the existing "Matsu International Art Island APP," gradually integrating digital guided tours of the Folk Culture Museum and other museums throughout the county. It aims to create a digital museum platform that combines cultural preservation, educational outreach, and tourism experiences. The APP offers multi-audio guided tours, exhibit overviews, interactive thematic content, and integrated museum information, allowing users to gain a deeper understanding of Matsu's historical development, battlefield culture, island life, and local memories through their mobile devices. The Folk Culture Museum, formerly the "Matsu Historical Relics Museum" established in 1974, houses artifacts unearthed from archaeological sites and folk historical relics, serving as an important window into Matsu's culture. After its exhibition update in 2024, it presents the cultural landscape of Matsu in different periods from a common-speaker perspective through themes such as "Island Geography," "Island Life," "Exploring the Island," and "Battlefield Island." The app combines online and offline guided tour services through digital technology, reducing the limitations and costs of traditional guided tour equipment and enhancing the convenience and interactive experience of visiting, allowing domestic and foreign tourists, teachers and students and local residents to explore and experience the charm of Matsu culture more intuitively.
