It contains approximately 510,000 words, including standard Korean rules, Korean orthography, dialects, archaic words, North Korean words, and foreign words. It incorporates some of the revisions made to the Standard Korean Dictionary in the first quarter of 2016, such as "lobster" and "DMZ," resulting in the largest number of entry points and the most recent revisions of any Korean dictionary published to date. II. Characteristics 1. The established principles of current grammar rules, including Korean orthography, standard Korean rules, and foreign word notation, are applied to each word to review and improve vocabulary, thereby reducing user confusion. 2. Referencing the "Joseonmal Daesajeon" (Korean Language Dictionary) published in North Korea in 1992, it includes not only words unique to North Korea but also words spelled differently in North Korea due to differences in grammar rules between the two Koreas. 3. 50 million words worth of data were input and utilized for compilation, providing examples of usage for many words. 4.
