Cota Rio

Cota Rio aims to meet the needs of the Civil Defense of Amazonas, in partnership with waterways, aiming at continuous monitoring of river levels. Its objective is to enable the recording of quotas, which are information related to river water levels at different measurement points. This information is essential for predicting floods, making decisions in emergency situations and planning preventive actions. Cota Rio works through the collaboration of waterway operators who work in river navigation, allowing the collection and sending of data in a continuous and decentralized manner. With this, Civil Defense can monitor variations in river levels in real time, ensuring a more agile and effective response to extreme weather events.
