SimulAgri mobile empowerment

Agriculture in Africa faces a double challenge: strengthening the capacities of small farmers and attracting and training young people who enter the job market each year. In the forums, you will be able to consult and participate in discussions on the solutions that mobile applications can provide to help meet this challenge: How to attract young people into agriculture? How can we train and support them in entrepreneurship? How to train in good production practices? How to transform products? How to manage the technical activities of the operation? How to manage finances? How to sell your products? How to prepare your financing file? … Comprehensive simulation games make it possible to evaluate the impact of this type of media for raising awareness and learning. A farm management module makes it possible to understand the effectiveness of such a tool to assist producers on a daily basis. Finally, to complete this overview of digital technology, a media library provides access to articles and reference documents on the digital transformation of agriculture, from recognized organizations.
