Open the app and hold your phone flat. 2. Walk slowly toward the object you want to check. 3. Watch the reading climb as you get closer to the source. 4. It measures magnetic field strength only. It does NOT detect nuclear radiation, ionizing radiation, gamma rays, X-rays or radioactivity. It is not a Geiger counter and cannot replace one. It also does not measure radio frequency (RF) or Wi-Fi signal power directly. Readings are limited by your phone's hardware. Different phones have different sensor quality, so values are useful for comparison and exploration, not for professional, medical or safety measurements. Do not rely on this app for any health, safety or compliance decision. For that, use a certified EMF meter and consult a qualified professional. If your readings look wrong, calibrate the sensor by moving your phone in a figure-8 pattern a few times, and move away from magnets, cases with metal clips, and wireless chargers. REQUIREMENTS Your device must have a magnetometer sensor. Most Android phones do. If the app shows no reading at all, your device likely does not include this sensor.
