Village Menu App

Village Menu App is the dedicated service application for the event you are attending! Developed to provide an advanced tool for menu consultation and nutritional analysis, ensuring maximum transparency and food safety. Menu Consultation Users can explore the culinary offerings across the various service stations within the village. The Calendar feature allows users to view available dishes for different time slots on any selected day. Additionally, the optimized interface enables quick switching between dining areas to easily compare the day's various options. Nutritional and Bromatological Information Each dish is accompanied by a detailed technical sheet to support daily nutritional tracking. Macronutrients—including energy (calories), total fat, saturated fat, carbohydrates, sugars, fiber, protein, and salt—are precisely reported, along with micronutrients such as calcium, iron, and sodium. The system offers the flexibility to view data based on 100g of product or per individual serving. Allergen Management and Food Safety Protecting user health is the primary goal of this application. Allergens are marked with standardized icons for immediate and unmistakable recognition. Furthermore, a custom filtering function allows users to automatically hide dishes containing ingredients that do not meet their specific dietary needs or intolerances. Dietary Regimens and Preferences The app allows users to quickly identify options compliant with specific dietary regimens through dedicated badges for vegetarian, vegan, Halal, and Kosher dishes. A quick search function is also available to find courses based on individual ingredients or specific dietary attributes. Accessibility and Design The application integrates advanced accessibility solutions to ensure an inclusive user experience. It features full compatibility with assistive technologies like TalkBack through semantic labeling on every element. The system supports High Contrast Mode and dynamic text scaling from 80% to 150%. Interaction is further enhanced by voice commands in Italian and English, as well as haptic feedback for operation confirmation. Navigation and Search Tools The interactive map provides the precise location of service stations and distribution points within the Village. The advanced search function—featuring autocomplete and search history—ensures rapid access to the most frequently sought information. Technical Features and Multi-language Support The interface is fully localized in Italian and English, designed to ensure smooth and intuitive use even in high-traffic environments. Village Menu represents the intersection of gastronomy and technology, enhancing the event experience for everyone involved.
