Submarine Pirates is a tactical submarine game set in the ice of the Antarctic basin. One old boat against a full armada. You will not win that with armour or speed. You win it with depth, silence, patience and a good firing solution. THE STORY Long before humanity, a peaceful alien presence built bases under the Antarctic ice, and the ice still holds their technology. Global warming is breaking that seal, and the cabal, the military force occupying the basin, takes what it can use and buries the rest. We are the Submarine Pirates. We do not have the numbers for this fight, but our friends fitted their technology into this hull. It keeps us off most sensors, and it lets us fight back when hiding is not enough. THE BOAT AND THE SEA - Dive, run silent, put your bow on the target and launch. A torpedo only leaves the tube when the enemy is in front of you and close to your depth. - Depth is your cover. Surface to collect salvage, go deep when the escorts start dropping charges. - Your boat turns slowly and the ice does not move for you. Icebergs block, hide and wreck. - Collect dropped containers and cargo, then dock at a floating base to repair, refuel, trade and bank your money. What you have not banked, you lose when you go down. THE ENEMY HUNTS BACK - Warships build a picture of you over time. Go quiet and deep and the picture rots, and their depth charges land where you were, not where you are. - Enemy submarines fight your fight: tubes, reload times, decoys, and a boat that will not sit still in your sights. - Helicopters and jets work the surface. Jets fire rockets while you are shallow and drop homing torpedoes once you dive. - Typhoon boss submarines patrol the deep water, and on higher difficulties an aircraft carrier group runs the whole sector. UPGRADE THE HULL, UNLOCK THE TECH - 27 upgradable systems, 10 technologies to unlock and enhance - Built the wrong boat? Refund every upgrade point and rebuild it from scratch, at no cost. NO TWO PATROLS ARE THE SAME - Missions, enemy groups and drifting ice are generated for every run. - 10 zones. The further out you push, the better it pays and the harder it hits. - 11 difficulty steps that change the map itself, not just the health bars: your main base disappears, resupply points thin out, the carrier group arrives. VERSION 1.2 - REBUILT The 2015 original has been rebuilt from the ground up on a modern engine: a 64-bit build for current Android devices, redesigned menus and HUD, a story introduction with voice-over and subtitles, reworked torpedo and countermeasure combat, and new ice, water and lighting. Graphics quality and view distance stay adjustable, so older phones can still hold a steady frame rate.
