Game Booster is a game launcher and device-monitoring tool for understanding your phone while you play. GAME LAUNCHER Choose installed games and keep them in one place. Open a selected game from Game Booster when you are ready to play. FLOATING DEVICE HUD With your permission, an optional floating panel can appear over another app while you play. It can show a session timer and readings that Android makes available on your device: - screen refresh rate in Hz - free memory - battery temperature - connection latency measured to a public DNS endpoint Readings depend on the device and Android version; unavailable values are not presented as measured results. The HUD requires Android's "Display over other apps" permission and runs with a visible notification that includes a stop action. With optional Usage access, the HUD can notice when you switch away from your game and offer to jump back or end the session. CORNER MONITORS Two small optional overlays can show the display refresh rate (Hz) and ping in a screen corner, independently of the HUD. Color, text size, and corner are configurable. DEVICE CHECK A read-only check that collects the readings above plus storage, battery level, and battery health as reported by Android, and shows them on one screen. SESSION HISTORY AND STABILITY When the HUD is on and you leave Game Booster to play, a session that meets the app's minimum duration can be saved locally. Each recorded session can include duration, average refresh rate, ping, temperature peak, and battery change. A stability figure is computed only from measured minutes of your own session — the share of minutes without display-rate drops or ping spikes — and is hidden when there is not enough data. Review recent sessions per game; the full history beyond the last 7 days is part of VIP. You can also export a session summary as an image to share. GFX GUIDE The app reads total memory, available CPU cores, and supported display rate to suggest a conservative starting point for graphics options. OTHER TOOLS Use an on-screen reaction-time mini-game. Optional pre-launch controls can request Do Not Disturb access and ask Android to close background app processes. Android may restrict these actions, so results vary by device. Any Do Not Disturb change made by the app has a user-visible stop/restore path.
