Lo Saldes

For more than 40 years, Lo Saldes has been the protagonist of the tables of thousands of Chilean families with its artisanal and fresh products, rescuing traditional recipes and preparations in each of them. Today, Lo Saldes is one of the most recognized bakeries nationwide. All its products are made by our artisans in a natural way, without the use of preservatives, substitutes or dyes, and with carefully selected noble raw materials. Lo Saldes was born when Lino Méndez traveled from Spain to Chile with some of his brothers to work in a small bread stall in Gamero, a commune of Independencia. After learning the trade, in 1975 Méndez bought the keys to a bakery located on the corner of Av. Presidente Kennedy and Las Tranqueras, in Las Condes, giving life to the first branch of Lo Saldes, whose name comes from a farm that formerly occupied the land of the current Av. Kennedy. The family bakery today has eight stores located in the eastern sector of Santiago plus sales through the e-commerce channel, where loyal customers are received in a warm, friendly and close atmosphere, which demonstrates a constant search for innovation without ever giving up. aside the tradition that characterizes them so much.
