Hitme is a screen time app and app blocker with a catch. To open the apps you doomscroll, you play a hand of blackjack against the house for your minutes. Win the hand and you earn your screen time. HOW HITME BLOCKS APPS (PERMISSIONS) Hitme uses Android's Accessibility Service (the AccessibilityService API) to detect when you open an app you've chosen to block, so it can show the block screen and a blackjack hand. Hitme uses this permission only for app blocking. It does not collect, store, share, or transmit any of your data, and everything stays on your phone. You enable it yourself during setup, and you can disable it anytime in Android Settings, under Accessibility.
