Point your camera at any food and instantly know what you're eating
Ever find yourself staring at a plate of food wondering how bad it actually is for you? Yeah, same. Calorie Scanner was born out of a simple frustration โ I wanted to know what I was eating without having to open ChatGPT or Gemini, type out a detailed description of my meal, and pray the answer made sense. I just wanted to point my phone at my food and get an answer. So that's exactly what this app does. Snap a photo or pick one from your gallery, and within seconds you'll get a calorie estimate plus a protein, carbs, and fat breakdown โ no typing, no searching, no nonsense. What you get: Instant calorie estimate from a photo Protein, carbs & fat breakdown Confidence indicator so you know how sure the AI is Works on home-cooked meals, restaurant dishes, snacks, takeout โ anything Is it perfect? No. AI calorie estimation is an educated guess, not a lab measurement. Portion sizes are hard to judge from a photo, and a "salad" can mean 200 calories or 900 depending on what's in it. But it's a genuinely useful ballpark โ good enough for the moments when you just want a quick read on what you're eating before you eat it. Think of it less like a precise nutrition tracker and more like asking a knowledgeable friend: "hey, is this bad?" Not a substitute for medical or dietary advice.
