Radio 96.1 FM Station

Same frequency, different cities. 96.1 FM collects radio stations that transmit on the 96.1 dial in different countries and lets you hear them live from one screen, whether you want the 96.1 you grew up with or you are curious about what that number plays somewhere else. LIVE RADIO Kantipur fm 96.1 opens the app as the featured station, and right below it you have Band FM 96.1, Whnn 96.1, Cat country 96.1 and the others in a grid of cards. Touch one and the full player slides up with the station artwork, a pause button in the centre and three shortcuts: share, sleep alarm and heart. A You May Also Like strip at the bottom of the player proposes similar stations, and the search icon on the home screen finds a station by typing part of its name. Playback survives the screen turning off and keeps going while you read messages or browse, and you can pause it from the notification without reopening the app. MEMORY GAME Sequential Memory turns cards face down and challenges you to reveal the numbers in ascending order. Start with 1 to 6, move up to 1 to 10 and finish with 1 to 20. A clock, a counter of the number you are looking for and a tally of moves are visible at all times, there are sound effects, and a trophy view keeps your records. STATIONS BY CATEGORY The Categories tab sorts the dial by style, each style with its own photo: Regional, Pop, Country and Urban. Open a style to see only its stations and the number of stations is written under each card, so you know what to expect before you tap. RADIO THAT SWITCHES ITSELF OFF The alarm clock icon in the player starts a countdown. Pick the minutes, let the music run, and when the countdown ends the app stops playing on its own. Great for falling asleep to the radio or for a fixed listening break at work. WATER REMINDER Instead of a fixed number of glasses, the app asks twelve short questions and works out a daily amount of water that matches you, then reminds you across the day by your first name. Answers are processed on the device and stay there. YOUR FAVORITE STATIONS Tap the heart on any station and it is filed under favorites, ready for the next time. The favorites list is kept on this phone only; the app never asks you to create an account, choose a password or type an email address. AUDIO GALLERY FOR SLEEP AND RELAXATION Two collections of audio live inside the app. Flute for Sleep offers long pieces of about two hours: Nocturnal Flute, Flute with Thunderstorm, Rain and Flute, Mountain Wind and Flute, River and Flute and Flute Music. Nature Relax has short recordings to loop: Heavy Rain, Rain on Trees, Rain on Roof, Seagulls, Wolves and three tracks of birds. Each item has its own play button and its own timer icon. MY GOAL Write your name, an amount in dollars, a date, three actions you commit to and a personal motto. The app turns them into a decorative Bank of Abundance check and a card that you can look at whenever you need a push. SLEEP An eight step questionnaire that estimates the best time to go to bed according to sleep cycles, so you wake up between cycles and skip the groggy first hour. Everything you enter is used only on the phone for that calculation. TO-DO LIST Add tasks, tick them off and sort them with an Eisenhower matrix into Now, Schedule, Delegate and Later. A My Progress tab shows how you are doing, and tasks can carry reminders; each day you use the app you receive one more reminder to assign.
