INESSS

The National Institute of Excellence in Health and Social Services (INESSS) is dedicated to promoting clinical excellence and the efficient use of resources in the health and social services sector. At the heart of this mission, the Institute evaluates, in particular, the clinical benefits and costs of technologies, medications and modes of intervention in health and social services. It makes recommendations for their adoption, use or coverage by the public plan, and develops clinical practice guidelines to ensure optimal use. INESSS has produced a series of products whose application includes various optimal use guides and clinical support tools for clinicians to support and guide them in their practice.
