Jetting Max Kart for Rotax

This app provides, for a set of weather values and an engine configuration (type, floats, etc.), a jetting and spark plug recommendation for karts with pre-2015 Rotax Max engines (non-EVO models): Senior, Minimax, Micromax, Micromax without carburettor restrictor, Supermax, DD2 and Junior, which use a Dellorto VHSB 34 carburettor, to get the most power. To get the weather values you can use GPS and a data connection to take your position and altitude, connect to the nearest public weather station and bring the values in. It also works with no GPS and no connection, by entering the weather data by hand. The app has four tabs: - Results: shows the main jet, the needle position, the spark plug and the air density for the conditions and the engine you have set. It also allows fine tuning, one tenth at a time, to adapt the recommendation to your particular engine. - Conditions: temperature, altitude, pressure and humidity. You can type them in or bring them from the nearest weather station, found with GPS. The app tells you when the reading was taken, so you know whether it is already old. - Engine: the engine type, the spark plug brand, the needle type (K27 or K98), the float and pilot jet combo (3.6 or 5.2 gr), the float height, the venturi (Dell'Orto 12.5 or 8.5), the airbox type, the oil ratio in the fuel and the track type. - Logbook: saves every session with the jetting you fitted, how the engine ran and your best lap. With a few sessions recorded, the app works out how far your engine drifts from the recommendation and offers to set that adjustment by default. Sessions export to CSV. It also includes a mixture calculator: tell it the litres and the percentage and it tells you the oil to add. The app supports different units: ºC and ºF for temperature, metres and feet for altitude, and mb, hPa, mmHg and inHg for atmospheric pressure. If your engine is an EVO, from 2015 onwards, you should install the Jetting for Rotax Max Evo app. We are also working on other jetting apps for karting engines (LKE, Maxter, TKM, Vortex, WTP, etc.) and on others for Alfano / Mychron displays, etc. Please send us an email telling us which engine you are interested in if you want us to let you know when we publish its jetting app. PERMISSIONS: The app needs only two permissions, and both are optional: - Location: to place you and find the nearest weather station. If you do not grant it, you can type the weather data in by hand and the app works just the same. - Internet: to query that station. All the calculation happens on the phone, offline. The app does not collect personal data. Your logbook sessions are stored only on your phone.
