Surah Tur

This Surah has 49 verses and it was revealed in Makkah. The Holy Prophet (S) said that the one who recites this Surah will be kept safe from the wrath and punishment of Allah (S.w.T.). Imam Ja’far as-Sadiq (a.s.) has said that the recitation of this Surah brings good fortune to the reciter and constant recitation by those who have been imprisoned secures an early release from bondage. Surah at-Tur, if recited or kept as a talisman, keeps children in good health.
