The Khatma Tafsiriyya app helps you read and reflect upon the Holy Quran through a collection of interpretations. It provides two types of daily readings: recitation and interpretation, enabling you to complete the Quran with full contemplation and a deep understanding of its verses. The recitation is a daily reading of the Holy Quran with the goal of completing it within a specific timeframe. The interpretation includes reading along with the explanation of the verses for a deeper understanding of their meanings. You can also listen to the Holy Quran recited by a wide range of reciters, including more than 230 reciters and 20 different styles, and read the Holy Quran in the Madinah Mushaf format. The app reminds you daily of your reading at a time you specify, allows you to browse the interpretation of any verse at any time, provides a large collection of supplications and their virtues, prayer and Adhan times, Qibla direction using a compass or camera, and a Zakat calculator to help you track your Zakat due date. ■ Reading the Holy Quran Read the Quran in clear, easy-to-read text with adjustable font size, or download your preferred illustrated Quran: Hafs, Hafs with colored Tajweed, Hafs Al-Wasat, Warsh, and others. You can delete it later to save space. Search for any word or verse in the entire Quran and navigate to its location or interpretation. Record your notes on any verse and save important pages for later reference. ■ Listening and Recitation Listen to recitations by a wide range of reciters in various styles. Create playlists of your favorite surahs and reciters, and download surahs for offline listening with full storage management. ■ Prayer Times and Adhan Accurate prayer times are calculated automatically based on your location, or you can select your city from the search bar or the map. The calculation methods used are approved (Umm Al-Qura, Muslim World League, Egyptian, Turkish, and others), with automatic selection of the method suitable for your country. ■ Choose the school of thought (Shafi'i or Hanafi) for the Asr prayer time and adjust each prayer individually, with rules for high latitudes. Prayer times continue to function even when location services are disabled, based on the last known location. You can listen to the full Adhan (call to prayer) instead of a notification tone, from several recordings including those from Mecca and Medina, as well as recitations by Mishary Al-Afasy and Al-Zahrani. A special Fajr Adhan recording is also available, which includes the phrase "Prayer is better than sleep," and can be activated for specific prayers only. A continuous notification counts down until the prayer time begins and then increases afterward. ■ Qibla Direction with Compass and Camera: A compass rotates with your device and points directly toward the Kaaba, displaying the Qibla angle and distance to Mecca. It provides guidance on how many degrees to turn right or left and alerts you to recalibrate the compass if its accuracy is weak. For even more precise direction, open the camera view to see a Kaaba symbol superimposed on your screen. Raise your phone and slowly rotate it until it is centered. The app corrects magnetic declination to ensure true north. ■ Zakat: Calculator and Year Tracking Calculate your zakat on gold and cash: Add each piece of gold with its weight and purity (24, 22, 21, 18, and 14 karat) to calculate its pure gold value. Add your cash and subtract any outstanding debts. This will display your zakat base, the nisab (minimum threshold), and the zakat amount in detail, not just as a numerical sum. Select your country to set the currency and the reference nisab used in your country. It will also retrieve the global gold price converted to your currency and remain adjustable to match your local market. Choose the nisab standard (85 grams of gold or 595 grams of silver, or less) and the ruling on worn jewelry, with a brief explanation of each issue and the opinions of scholars. Specify the date your wealth reached the nisab according to the Hijri or Gregorian calendar to calculate your next zakat payment date and view your past year. Record your Zakat when it's due, whether you're paying the exact amount or not. Keep a record of previous years, with three reminders: a reminder before the due date (by a period of your choosing), a reminder on the due date itself, and a reminder after the due date if you haven't recorded it. The calculator is a tool to help you calculate, not a religious ruling. ■ Home Screen Widgets Add prayer times to your home screen in multiple sizes. These widgets display the next prayer, a countdown timer, and the times for the day, with various appearance styles and font size controls. They continue to update even when the app is closed. ■ Backup and Sync Save your progress in Quran recitations, daily recitations, notes, and settings to your Google Drive account. Automatic backups are performed periodically, and a full restore is available when you change phones. ■ Remembrance and Worship A large collection of supplications (Adhkar) with explanations of their virtues, including morning and evening supplications, an electronic rosary, and a calendar that displays your daily reading history and helps you stay on track. ■ General Features The app supports both Arabic and English languages, with a modern and user-friendly design featuring day and night modes, and a Hijri calendar with adjustable day-by-day settings. It also works on Android TV devices with a dedicated interface controlled via remote, and includes automatic call to prayer (Adhan).
