Last Letter First Game Rules Last Letter First is a simple vocabulary game, but the possibilities for gameplay are endless. Step 1: A player enters a word. Step 2: The next player then enters a word that starts with the last letter of the previous player’s word. Step 3: The next player then enters a word that starts with the last letter of the previous player’s word. …and this repeats until a player misspells or repeats an already played word. Points are calculated based on the points assigned to each letter of the word. When a player repeats or misspells a word, the player gets a strike. A player’s game ends when they get 3 strikes and the last player in the game WINS. For example, - Player 1 enters the word “sailboat” for X points. - Player 2 enters the word “trumpet” for Y points (“trumpet” starts with the last letter of “sailboat”). - Player 3 enters the word “trafic” which is misspelled so they get a strike. - Player 1 enters the word “tiresome” for Z points (“tiresome” starts with the last letter of “trumpet”). - Player 2 enters the word “excellent” for X points (“excellent” starts with the last letter of “tiresome”). - Player 3 enters the word “tickle” for Y points (“tickle” starts with the last letter of “excellent”). … And the game goes on until two out of the three players get three strikes.
