Laurie's Love

A custom mobile app that will allow people who are going through any form of cancer as well as their family members and caregivers to find other people both locally and around the country who are also experiencing the same or similar diagnosis. It will act as a support system for them to be able to speak to other people who are going through a very similar situation. Users will be able to view profiles of other people, see a little bit about them and request to become friends. Once they have become friends via the app they will be able to chat with them, share experiences, and just talk to someone who is going through the same thing. They will be able to maintain a “Friends” List where they see and talk to multiple people at one time. People who have created an account within the app will also be able to donate to the Laurie's Love foundation either via a One-Time donation or a Monthly donation. People who are fortunate enough to not be affected by cancer will also be able to give towards the cause by donating via a QR code that users of the app will have available to them on the app.
