AR SatFinder for GEO Satellites and NGSO Constellations tracking

Free Satellite Finder and Constellation Tracker from Satbeams Point your phone at the sky and instantly see where satellites are, in augmented reality. Find geostationary satellites for aligning your dish, or find the best spot for your LEO dish by tracking NGSO constellations like Starlink, OneWeb and Amazon LEO as they pass overhead. HOW TO USE Start typing a satellite name, orbital position, NORAD number or constellation in the search field, and pick what you want from the drop-down list. Raise the camera to the sky and follow the on-screen guide to your target. GEOSTATIONARY SATELLITES For any geostationary satellite, the app computes the full dish-pointing solution from your GPS location: - True and magnetic azimuth - Elevation - LNB tilt (skew) A live clear-sky check tells you whether your line of sight to the satellite is open or obstructed. CONSTELLATIONS Choose a constellation and the view switches to a target reticle, with arrows pointing to the satellites currently visible from your location. Satellites are colour-coded so you know which ones you can actually use: - Green - clear to use - Amber - visible, but low on the horizon - Red - inside the geostationary belt, and dimmed (GEO zone) The dimmed red band across the sky marks the geostationary arc, where LEO satellites are not allowed to operate to avoid interference with GEO satellites. Any satellite falling inside it is flagged red and left out of the guidance arrows. SATELLITE DATA The satellite list keeps itself up to date automatically. Tap the sync button (top right) to open the data manager, where you can download or refresh constellation data for offline use. ⚠ The app needs GPS, compass, accelerometer and camera access to work. Some older phones may take a few seconds to start the camera the first time you point it up.
