"My Books App" is an interactive reading platform that helps elementary and middle school students develop a love of reading and develop their language proficiency by providing more than 1,600 stories and books in three languages: Arabic, English and French, carefully selected by teachers and academic experts. The books are classified into graded reading levels in addition to their classification by subject, age, or according to the International Baccalaureate system adopted in many of the leading schools in the region. The child enters the platform through his own account that allows him to explore the content and choose the books he prefers, as he begins a learning journey full of fun and play focused on developing the four language skills: reading, writing, listening and speaking. The books are professionally audio-recorded under the supervision of language experts, and the readable text is shaded word for word so that the child hears the word and sees it shaded at the same time. Students can also take notes, highlight texts, record their voice, answer comprehension questions at the end of the story, and share what they have accomplished with their teachers and mentors. The Kutobi platform also integrates gamification with learning in a fun way by awarding students with medals and points to encourage and reward reading more as they move up from one level to the next. Teachers, teachers and parents can obtain reports on the progress of students or children. These reports include the stories read, the student’s current level, the time spent in reading, in addition to other details related to the student’s reading activity during a specified period of time. The Kutobi platform is accredited by leading schools in more than 22 countries in the region and around the world, and it is an effective solution that enables children to enjoy reading and provides them with an enjoyable and useful experience at the same time.
