It contains, in a concise way, all the essential and fundamental elements of the Church's faith, in order to constitute, as already provided my Predecessor, a kind of vademecum that allows people, believers or not, to cover the complete panorama of the Catholic faith with an overview. It faithfully reflects in its structure, content and language, the Catechism of the Catholic Church, which will find in this synthesis help and encouragement to be better known and in greater depth ".
