He took the hadith from Ahmad bin Hanbal, Ishaq bin Rahwayh, Abu Zara’a Al-Razi and others, and was a student of Imam Muhammad bin Ismail Al-Bukhari. He has other unauthentic works in the science of hadith and the science of men; But most of them are missing, he died on Sunday the twenty-fifth of Rajab in the year 261 AH, at the age of fifty-five years, and he was buried on Monday and his tomb is in the head of Ziyad Square in Nasrabad in Dahir Nishapur.
