Community Gearbox

Community Gearbox helps you ask for what you need, lend what you have, and keep track of shared items with people you already know and trust. Whether you’re headed camping, hosting dinner, fixing a bike, or planning a trip, sharing shouldn’t feel awkward. Community Gearbox creates lightweight structure around borrowing and lending — so expectations, knowing who has what, and follow-through are clear for everyone involved. With Community Gearbox, you can: • Post an “In Search Of” to let friends know what you need • Offer items when someone mentions an activity • Log who has what in seconds • Get gentle reminders at the right time • Mark exchanges resolved with one tap • Avoid awkward follow-ups and forgotten items Unlike text message threads, Facebook posts, spreadsheets, or rigid inventory systems, Community Gearbox is built specifically for informal sharing within trusted networks. It works even when participation is small. It works even when sharing is occasional. It works because it’s simple. Community Gearbox helps sharing flow more naturally — without extra work or social friction.
