NSL NamSlap App will allow you to learn specific signs to better communicate with Deaf friends, colleagues, or customers. The Namibian National Association of the Deaf (NNAD) was founded in 1991 with the mission to advocate for the rights and inclusion of Deaf individuals in Namibia. We are committed to ensuring that Deaf Namibians have equal access to education, employment, healthcare, and social services. Our organization is a proud member of the World Federation of the Deaf (WFD), which allows us to influence global policies affecting the Deaf community. NNAD is built and led by the Deaf people themselves. The association is not politically, racially, ethnically or religiously orientated. Its purpose is to protect the social, legal, linguistic and cultural interests of all Deaf people regardless of their gender, age, affiliation, background or place of origin.
