The Three Fundamental Principles and Their Proofs: A concise and valuable treatise authored by the reformer Imam Muhammad ibn Abd al-Wahhab (may God have mercy on him). It contains the fundamental principles that every person must know: the knowledge of one's Lord, the types of worship that God has commanded, the knowledge of one's religion, the levels of religion and the pillars of each level, a brief overview of the life of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), the wisdom behind his mission, belief in the Resurrection, and the two pillars of monotheism: disbelief in false deities and belief in God. This is a concise treatise, supported by evidence from the Book of Allah and the Sunnah of His Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him), on one of the fundamental principles of Islam: creed. It was written by Muhammad ibn Abd al-Wahhab. Scholars used to pay close attention to such concise treatises, compiling them and working diligently to abridge and refine them before memorizing them for their students. This ensured they remained foundational texts, a valuable resource from which they could both benefit and impart knowledge. Shaykh Muhammad ibn Abd al-Wahhab (may Allah have mercy on him) also wrote another treatise entitled "The Three Fundamental Principles." This shorter treatise, less comprehensive than the one mentioned here, was intended for teaching children and young people. The first is known as "The Three Fundamental Principles," while the second, "The Three Fundamental Principles," is the one we are publishing. There is often confusion between the two titles; it is sometimes referred to as "The Three Fundamental Principles" or "The Three Fundamental Principles," but its more common title is "The Three Fundamental Principles and Their Evidence." In my view, it is worth more than tons of books on the science of Kalam (Islamic scholastic theology), which is falsely called "the science of Tawhid" (Islamic monotheism). This short treatise addresses the core of this religion and its firmly established foundations, aiming to present it as it came from God. It is suitable for raising children, teaching new Muslims, and for us to return to the essence of the religion in its simplicity, ease, and beauty, after we have become immersed in its complexity! There must be a Muslim family, where a father or mother sits with their young children, receiving the fundamentals of their religion from its primary source: the Holy Quran and the Prophetic Sunnah. I believe that Imam Ibn Abd al-Wahhab, may God have mercy on him, in this treatise, was merely expressing this approach and categorizing its major principles in a few pages. This book is among the first books studied in creed courses related to the Islamic religion in general. It explains the three fundamental principles that one should know as part of one's creed; if one does not know them, there is no need to know them as long as one believes in them. Alaa - A simplified book covering the three fundamental principles that every Muslim, male and female, must know, as well as the foundations and principles of the religion. One cannot be considered a Muslim without fulfilling and adhering to them. Therefore, knowing the foundations of one's religion is an obligatory duty. Learning the knowledge that is essential for salvation is also a duty. Today, many are affiliated with Islam in name only, knowing nothing of God's religion, its origins, or its fundamentals. They turn away from learning and understanding their Lord, their religion, and their Prophet, instead immersing themselves in worldly sciences and neglecting their faith. It is our collective duty to learn and to invite others to deepen their understanding of their religion and acquire a correct knowledge of it.
