Nearby earthquake alerts, live maps, AI insights and multiple seismic sources

See where earthquakes are happening and understand the details. Track recent earthquakes near you and worldwide with customizable notifications, an interactive earthquake map and plain-language AI summaries. Earthquake App brings global and regional seismic reports together in a clean, easy-to-navigate interface. Check earthquakes today, explore fault lines and follow activity in the places that matter to you. Nearby earthquake alerts • Set magnitude and distance preferences to focus on events relevant to you. • See how far an earthquake occurred from your location. • Duplicate detection helps reduce repeated notifications for the same event. Alerts depend on source publication, your internet connection, notification permissions and device settings. Live maps and fault lines • Explore the latest reported earthquakes on an interactive world map. • Filter by magnitude, depth, time, distance and reporting source. • View fault lines from USGS and European datasets alongside earthquake locations. • Search recent and historical events to explore seismic activity over time. AI insights in everyday language • Read AI-generated summaries of recent earthquakes and regional activity. • Explore seismic patterns with explanations that make complex data easier to understand. AI insights are experimental and may contain errors. They do not predict individual earthquakes. Any probability-based forecasts are experimental estimates, not warnings of an upcoming event. Multiple seismic sources in one place Follow reports from the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS), European-Mediterranean Seismological Centre (EMSC), GFZ and the International Seismological Centre (ISC), alongside regional networks such as AFAD, INGV, GeoNet, JMA, BMKG and IRSC. Reports from different sources are combined, with duplicate events merged to keep the feed easier to follow. Coverage, publication times and event details vary by source and may be revised. Detailed reports and community comments • Review magnitude, depth, location, time, distance and reporting source. • Read community comments about individual earthquake events. • Sign in to share your experience and join the discussion. Community comments reflect users' experiences and are not verified seismic reports. Designed for clear, comfortable browsing • Read event details at a glance with a clean layout and clear map markers. • Switch between light and dark themes. • Revisit recently viewed earthquakes and available cached map data offline. An internet connection is needed for new reports, alerts and AI updates. Important information Earthquake App is an independent informational app, not affiliated with or endorsed by the agencies listed. It is not an earthquake early-warning system and cannot predict the exact time, location or magnitude of a future earthquake. For emergency instructions, follow local authorities and official warning services. Location access is optional and supports nearby event distances and alert settings. An account is required to post comments.
