Gig Chord Book holds your own chord charts — the ones you already have, pasted from wherever you keep them — and turns them into something you can actually read on a dark stage. BRING YOUR OWN CHARTS Paste a chart and it just works. ChordPro files and directives (.pro, .cho, .crd, .chopro), inline brackets like [G]this, and plain charts with the chords sitting on the line above the words. You can mix both styles in one song. Nothing is uploaded anywhere — there is no account and no server. TRANSPOSE WITHOUT REWRITING Move a song up or down and every chord follows. Your own notation is kept exactly as you typed it: Am stays Am, A7sus4 stays A7sus4, Cmaj7#11 stays Cmaj7#11. Set a capo and the app prints the shapes your fingers actually make while the sounding key stays where it is. THE PERFORMANCE SCREEN Dark, large type, and the screen stays awake while a chart is open. Chords sit directly above the syllable they belong to, so a line wraps as a unit and a chord never ends up away from its word. Adjust the text size until it reads at arm's length.
