The DC Department of Public Works (DPW) has launched a new MyDPW mobile app that delivers customized schedules, reminders and alerts about street sweeping, leaf collection and tow and boot services. Be notified about when to move your vehicles ahead of weekly residential street sweeping. The app is currently designed for residents who frequently park on residential streets, allowing them to select the blocks they would like to receive alerts about, and providing access to the posted schedules for selected blocks right on their phones. In addition to alerts about street sweeping, the mobile app allows residents to sign up for DPW’s existing booting/towing and leaf collection alerts. Residents who have already signed up to receive these alerts will not need to re-register and just use their existing login, and signing up for a new account takes less than 5 minutes.
