New design, quick “Send Now” button & smart “L” mode for location sharing

NEW! Safety Feature (Emergency Mode) Phone Data Monitor is not just a system monitoring app – it now includes an important **safety feature** designed to help users in emergency situations. This feature allows the app to **send an automatic SMS** with your location to selected emergency contacts when the user is in danger. Permissions Declaration – SEND_SMS Why is this permission required? The app uses the SMS permission to send emergency messages to predefined phone numbers when the user manually activates the emergency mode (“L” button). How is this permission requested? The app first displays a custom disclosure screen explaining why SMS permission is needed. After user confirmation, the app requests the permission using Android’s official requestPermissions() API. This triggers the standard system prompt asking the user to grant permission (screenshot attached). How can a reviewer test this functionality? Uninstall the app if already installed. Reinstall and launch the app. A screen will appear explaining the permissions needed. Tap “Grant” – Android will display the system permission dialog for sending SMS. If the user allows it, the app can send emergency SMS messages only when requested by the user. Additional notes: The app does not read or monitor SMS messages. SMS is sent only after user action and only to numbers saved by the user. No data is shared externally or used for analytics. It is especially useful for: - elderly users, - people with health conditions, - users who need a fast and silent way to alert their family or friends. This functionality is an **important part of the app's core features** and can be life-saving in critical moments. You can activate this mode manually or via special triggers within the app. 🛡️ ,,L' Emergency Mode ,,L' mode is a safety feature designed for critical situations. When activated, it silently sends an SMS with the user's current location to selected emergency contacts every few minutes. This mode is intended for: - users with medical conditions, - people who may be in danger, - situations where fast and discreet help is needed. ,,L' can: - start automatically after device restart, - run in the background even with the screen off, - send location updates regularly (every 5 minutes), - be stopped only with a secure PIN. This functionality is a key feature of the app and is designed to protect users when they are unable to call or speak. SMS permission is required for this feature to function properly in emergency scenarios. Phone Data Monitor is not only a system tool — it also includes an important safety feature designed to protect users in critical situations. With just one button, you can activate: an emergency mode that sends your location via SMS, a loud SOS sound alert to attract attention. The app also monitors key phone parameters: Battery level and estimated charging status, Temperature with dynamic icons that reflect changes, Internet connection status (Wi-Fi/mobile), RAM usage and internal storage space. You can also send your location manually with a single tap, making it easy to inform your trusted contacts instantly. This combination of real-time system monitoring and emergency tools makes Phone Data Monitor a practical and reliable solution for both everyday use and unexpected situations. The application uses the SEND_SMS permission only to send emergency messages with the user's GPS location to trusted contacts when the user activates the “L mode”. When enabled, L mode sends SMS messages at regular intervals (every 5, 10, 15, or 30 minutes), based on the interval selected in the app's settings. The user manually activates this mode, configures the phone numbers, and sets a PIN for protection. The app does not read, monitor, or store any SMS history. No other SMS functions are used. New button label in English: "Send Location Now"
